We always want you to be well, in good health and safety. You, your friends and your families are always on our minds.
We are in a reality that nobody would have wanted to have, currently in Guatemala:

– Vaccinated: 1,598,598
Guatemalan families in need require our support today, more than ever, and at Constru Casa we continue with our mission of continuing to improve the conditions of the at-risk families and communities here in Guatemala; we are constantly in the fight for people’s health, housing and dignity.
Taking into account the current situation that we have in Guatemala, we want to let you know that we are continuing to receive volunteers and visitors to support our programs and mission. You are always welcome, and we are counting on you. We are all on the same page because we know that you and Constru Casa are part of the future of these families.
We continue with the health and sanitation protocol every day, for the families, for us, and for you. In participating in our projects, we require that the staff, masons, volunteers and other people with whom we have contact, use a mask, alcohol, adequate distance, constant hand washing, and disinfection before, during and after the work day; and if necessary provide negative COVID-19 tests.
The whole country has already started the vaccination process and we hope that soon we will have this beautiful country protected from COVID-19.
We, the Constru Casa team, have all the confidence that your work as a volunteer will be successful and that we are protecting ourselves in the best way possible.
We are committed to give you an excellent experience and with all the peace of mind of being active during the visit to the country to our project and in your volunteer activities!
